Pearce began his architectural career in high school working for several architects in historic Wilmington, North Carolina. After receiving his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State he spent time practicing architecture while also designing and building furniture. He returned to graduate school at the University of Illinois, Chicago where he received a Master of Architecture. Pearce has been a resident of the Lowcountry for over a decade and is active in the community where he sits on several local boards.
His professional experience includes residential design in a variety of styles, primary and higher educational facilities including multiple campuses for South University and the Art Institute, amenity structures, restaurants, office buildings and other commercial structures.
Pearce has a talent for listening and pulling together diverse wants and needs in creative ways.
Allison W. Bonner, AIA
Principal / Owner
Allison is one of the two founding partners of Pearce Scott Architects. She is a licensed architect and a LEED accredited professional. Most importantly, she is a wife and mother of three.
Allison grew up in Boise, ID with a passion for the arts and her education. She took these talents to Boise State University and Savannah College of Art and Design, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture and a Master of Architecture, receiving the singular award for Outstanding Academic Achievement.
The daughter of an engineer, she takes her knack for logic, problem solving, attention to detail, and helps develop designs that are aesthetically beautiful, functional, and personal to each client.
Allison is involved in all aspects of design, from concept through construction observation, to quality control and coordination with consultants, builders, and clients.
